About the Campaign

NA4A is a US-based food boycott campaign, first launched by PSWG in 2022, that seeks to mobilize local organizing groups for coordinated action against companies in the food industry that are complicit in the ongoing settler colonial occupation of & genocide in Palestine. The US is the largest importer of Israeli food products, $320 million in 2022 (World Bank), which makes it a readily available target for pro-Palestine action.

Local groups can choose from a range of tactics, based on what is appropriate for their context & capacity: making connections between consumers & store owners and educating & agitating for apartheid-free grocery stores and kitchens. Inspired by longstanding Palestinian boycott tactics that weave a fabric of community support - a popular cradle.

NA4A has already been successful in the communities that have piloted this campaign, with over 150 Apartheid Free Stores in 17 states (and Canada!).
