Palestine Solidarity Working Group
Who are we?
The Palestine Solidarity Working Group is a Palestinian-led, anti-zionist formation of revolutionary socialists committed to building a solidarity movement on turtle island accountable to Palestinians everywhere. We put these politics into practice by educating, agitating, and organizing towards a decolonized, liberated future.
Points of Unity
- Right of Return
The liberation of Palestine fundamentally means that all Palestinians can return to their homeland from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea in freedom and dignity.
- Anti-Zionism
The liberation of Palestine fundamentally means the abolition of Zionist colonialism – a white supremacist, settler-colonial project. In order to achieve an end to Zionism, especially from our position within the imperial core, we must also aim to abolish the intersecting systems of oppression that created and continue to maintain it, including racism, imperialism, and capitalism.
- Right to Resist
The liberation of Palestine will be achieved through the initiative and strategy of all forms of Palestinian resistance, just as has been the case for all peoples engaged in decolonial struggles throughout history. We uphold the right of all oppressed and indigenous peoples to resist by any means necessary in pursuit of freedom and justice.
- Accountability to Palestinians
Solidarity with Palestinians is about more than simply supporting Palestinians’ political demands, but intimately understanding that relationships in our movement must be grounded in meaningful social bonds. Mutual respect, awareness of one’s own positionality, and uplifting our Palestinian comrades are essential components of these bonds.
